i asked my sis today as she works for virgin atlantic. She said you could take the powder on in those tubs where you can store enough for 3 feeds on and get the water for the bottle on the plane. If you want to take ready made bottles on you may need to have a little sip infront of them. if you want to take the packets of ready made milk they have to be in quantities of 100ml and you can take as many packets as you can fit in a sandwich bag n it has to be able to seal it, it is one sandwich bag per person for all your liquids. she is not 100 % sure about the packets.
if the airport has a boots they might sell the milk in there.
