Thanks all.Guess it differs then some get them soon some don't.Lo will be 15 weeks on wednesday.Just thought it seems extremely long to wait for it with no correspondence from them.Hope your all right though in saying it will get backdated.
Just hope it comes through before January(going to South Africa to see my parents for nearly two months JIPEE

Oh my word - I have been ringing them every other day - lo is 8 week tomorrow and last week I got a letter asking for everything you could think of:- mortgage/rent statement, last 3 months wage slips, council tax bill, etc, etc.............
And I am still waiting......................... I feel for you as I am in the same boat.
Sorry if this isn't much helt but it is secretley nice to know that I am not theonly one is is waiting.
ps. I have been told (unoficially) that the tax credit will be back dated.

i only waited about 2 weeks, id call again and make a pain of yourself! on the up side you should get it backpaid so youll have a bit wad of cash to play with when it finally does come through, good luck hunni. xx

Sorry I know this has probably been asked a few times but I can't find a thread with the answer.
We phoned the tax office about 3 weeks ago to find out what's happening to our claim that we put in about 2months ago.The person told us they're still looking in to it.Asked us a few questions ni number, last job, previous adress ect.Then told us to phone back in 3 weeks.So phoned them on tuesday wich was 3weeks and 1day later and got told by that person it is still pending and there is no time scale to it.
Now I was just wondering how long do you normally wait for it to be approved as I hav nou waited about 3months.

hi i didnt wait as long as you have been but i did start to phone everyday and ask them to send off a query everday i know i got on their nerves and i was checking they had everything all my info all the time so maybe try being a pain in the a*se and it might help x
