my son is 14 wks and has around the same (45oz) but normal milk

well my little un is 13 weeks tom and weights 10.11lb last week and im lucky if she take 22oz a day !!

My dd at 14 weeks was taking 4 x 8oz of hungry baby milk a day. She is 16 weeks now and still taking the same and weighs 14lbs 3oz

kody has between 32-40oz of hungry milk a day and half a jar and baby cereal so would say ur little on is doin fine. Kody weighed 17lb 2 and a half at 14 weeks

the rule of thumb for amounts of formula for a baby not having solids is approx 2.5-2.7oz per lb of weight so by my calculation he should be taking between 42.5 and 45.9oz of milk per 24 hours.  Your lo is taking a normal amount of milk for his age and weight so I dont see why your hv has an issue with it. If he is happy and you are happy with it then continue what you are doing.

i know i might get jumped on but it was hv advice! yeah he has a lot of water as well could be growth spurt but it's been around 2wks!

awww what a hungry boy! he might be having a growth spurt that will settle with time I personally wouldent give any solids just more milk esp if the food made no difference, I may be wrong but do you think he may be thirsty do you give boiled water?

If it were me i would keep with the milk and see how it goes it might settle.

hiya girls getting stressed as my wee boy is on around 45oz a day on hungrier baby milk dont know what to do? he's around 17lb in weight(big boy) hv advised me to give him a couple of teaspons of baby rice with his 7pm feed(dont jump on me please) it hasnt done anything

any advice greatly appreicated
