Last time I went to the clinic their were a couple of them there and I had seen one of them before and he was useless so I specifically asked to see the 'top man' lol and they let me. Not sure that they could have arranged it before though?

Nathan sees a peadeatric team, not a reflux specialist, although the main consultant is very sympathetic - more so than his understudies.

I think I've finally cracked, I've taken to singing songs about sick!  Do you know miss polly?  It's supposed to go 'miss polly had a dolly who was sick, sick, sick, so she called for the doctor to come quick, quick, quick' . Well my version is: 'mummy had a baby who was sick, sick, sick'...... Sam thinks it's funny anyway lol

As per your other thread, can they not get an emergency prescription to the pharmacy for you today? I'd be getting on at them, if they've mucked it up!

    Hello there!

Sorry I haven't posted in here for a while, it's a bit hectic here? How is everyone?

I thought everything was going well with Brock on the gaviscon and weaning, but yesterday he started vomiting his solids again I'm hoping it was just what I gave him to eat at dinner (vegetable hotpot) But I'm not too sure. To top it all off my doctors have mucked up his repeat prescription for gaviscon and he's having to go without. So now i'm covered in baby sick as he doesn't seem to be able to keep his milk down?

Before he was on gaviscon his reflux was silent but now he's not on it, his milk is coming up all over the place, even out of his nose!!

Eww not nice about the maggots! We used to go fishing with them as bait when I was small, ahhh how long ago that was lol

Good girl, Tahlia! I'm starting to think about getting out and about a bit more with madam, as I want her to get exposure to other kids. That said she's always so good and smiley when we get out and about, so that's pretty good!

carla after you text me about madame being fine ,i got tahlia fron nursery and she had loved it ,she stayed without any bother ,so people who say having them with you all the time is making a rod for your own back are liars has there was children there screaming who were left with grandparent s while there parents worked ,tahlia has never been left yet she was so confident i was shocked x x x

That's the problem I'm having. Where ever I place him in the cot he always ends up squashed into the top left hand corner, can't get out and needs rescuing. As I am typing dh is just rescuing him now, lol!

Had a terrible day today and it has just been topped off with a huge maggot infestation in our wheelie bins. We've spent the whole evening hosing down the whole area, sprayng bleach and boiling the kettle to pour over them and the damn things still won't die!!!  I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight as my skin is crawling and I think I am going to have nightmares

We've had issues with feeding too, a combination of I think teething and also the food got a bit boring lol We've upped the game though and she seems to enjoy what we're feeding her now. Until tomorrow anyway hehe

Good luck with the Dr Browns, they're the ones we use. Bit fiddly but after a few days I could have cleaned and reassembled them in my sleep. LO goes through phases of being windy, I'm trying to see if it relates to any specific foods, but no luck so far.

Hoping for a better night tonight, it's night 3 of the grobag, and she's such a fidget. She ends up getting stuck widthways as she's not worked out she's getting too tall now. Have had to rescue her the past 2 nights, I'm hoping she's a bit more used to it now!

Glad to hear that, i bet your relieved!

Nathan has been very sick today. I'm giving Dr Brown bottles another go as he is constantly full of wind. They didn't help before but anything is worth another go eh?

He's also been really grumpy, not sure if it's his teeth as he kept screaming when I was spoon feeding him earlier which really isn't like him, he usually loves his food.

Don't think he is going to have gained much this week. I may not bother weighing him, but I say that every week and can never resist

I was pleased to get to get to work today, alfie was really having a bad day today (god i sound awful!)  he cried everytime i walked away from him, not out the room but just to the side even a little bit.  Had his helmet off all day today as head is very sore, he has brought up two of his bottles.  I gave him some calpol before i went to work incase his teeth were hurting

On the plus side he did eat all his luch (half a small jar) and most of his dinner (quatre of a small jar)  and he sucked a teddy biscuit to death and had a suck on some chips, so that was a better food day

I am getting him weighed on wed and have a feeling he wont have put on much., but we will see.

    How are your lo today?

    hiya

we are not having good day either   Alfie has not drank much milk today and brought up all his brekkie bottle when i tried to give him breakfast, i had to strip his highchair down again and clean it.  Which did not help with the school run at all.  He seems really unsettled at the moment too.
