hey eryn shivers with banana yoghurt but its her fav, think its just taste buds, like when you suck lemon! i think anyway, doesnt hinder her anyway!

i gave him a rusk this morning in his hand and then put the other half with some milk and ticked him by putting some in while he was eating his finger food, shivered then too.  He wont touch apple or pear.  He did like cauliflower in his hand but today i gave him a jar of cauliflower cheese and it happened again?

I suppose its just a new thing for him and he will learn to enjoy it in time

Hey Nic- Jasmine sometimes shivers too - on certain foods/meals- she did it for the first time at the weekend with homemade parsnip/potato/green bean mixture (bit of butter)... it was mashed rather than pureed... was trying her on more lumpy food and she shivered and wouldn't eat it... i'm not sure if it was like a reflex to the lumps or the taste but she just wouldn't eat it and normally she loves her food. Was a bit strange but have kind of brushed off... is he eating anything else? J will eat jars pretty easily and doesn't shiver with those... i'm afraid i'm not much help as I have no idea what it is...

my lo doesnt like eating of the spoon but now he is 6 months i have decided to push it more, he has finger foods but he onlyt takes about 25 oz a day and thats not enough so want to try and get food into him now, the only thing is he does not like it and he shudders when i feed him.  Has anyone else had this happen with there lo?
