Like clarkyrhian I as not happy with my pixifoto's and won't be using them again. I bought the full package because on the screen they all looked lovely but I was shocked when they arrived. My little brown haired, dark skinned baby turned into a pale, blotchy ginger baby. It looked nothing like her. I was so upset that dh took me to a studio in our local town where I had new pic's taken and they are stunning. The bloke who took them used to work at pixifoto and said the processing centre is huge and they don't have the time to calobrate the machines for the right colouring.

hiya i used mine about a month ago when my lo was 5 months, we went to a mobile pixifoto in boots and there was no pressure to buy. i ended up just taking the complimentary one as it was actually my favorite and i wasn't too impressed with the others. he said you can get an A4 for £25 - that can have 1 large pic, 2 medium or 4 small, etc, and 8 of these is £80. I would defo go again, the pic is lovely!

    Hiya

we got ours done a couple of weeks ago. We paid £80 and we got the freebie, a huge 16x20 foam backed board with 4 pictures of Ewan on, and 3 5x7s and 4 passport size.

I love them. - I found them really good at taking the photos (you can see them straight away on the screen as they snap) and we took about 15 shots to get the "right" one for my freebie (all the same pose, but several gos at it!)

I have had a bad experience with PIXI in the past, so went with portrait place, but now think I will stick with PIXI as their packages are a little better.

Hiya hun had mine done with Pixi foto using the same voucher for 0-6 months. The free photo was great and turned out really well. You don't have to purchase anything you don't want to and i didnt feel pressured at all. In fact i wanted quite a few of the photos but couldnt afford much so the photographer sat down with me and told me how to get the price down. In the end i ended up spending £180.00 but some of this was for family and friends. If you just want the free picture they will b fine with this. If you want anymore at a later date though they hold them on the systems for 6 months after so you can order them when you have got more money if you want to.

Sure they will turn out fab. I do advise you to take a spare outfir tho just in case ur lo is a bit sick or dribbling - they don't have the facilities to airbrush anything out!!!!!!

Let me know how u get on.x.

me and a few other ladies from pdif08  had problems with our pixi photos. mine came out awful, he looked so fat and spotty and she rushed the pictures so much. I then went and got some done with Barrett and Co (you get a free photo in the emma's diary) and they were absoultely amazing. fantastic photography and was so patient. When we came back to view the pictures, we even got a cup of tea and a slideshow on a projector.

Hi tasmi, what did you get fo £40 and £70.  I would really like some posed pics but know that £200 is s=way too expensive and spending about £50 i may just get away with it without hubby shooting me.

Has anyone had this done yet.  I have booked mine for Tuesday and was wondering how everyone got on? They said that they will take the free pic then take lots more which they will make into a portfolio fr you to buy if you want to.  The package is £200.  I cant really afford that lus i have loads of lovely pics that i have taken myself.  Did anyone when they went to get it done feel pressurised into buying the package.  I am taking lo on Tuesday on my own and thats the last thing i want.
