my dd2 had blue hand and feet when she was born and they said it was fine because the rest of her was ok... she is 4 now and when its cold she gets freezing and when its warm/hot shes boiling... its not too much to worry about its a circulation thing I think

hiya just wanted to let you know that sock do wonders sometimes, as ds gets cold hands, feet, legs, arms etc apparently(gp rekons) its 'normal'for them to have cold hands and feet and the only time you need to worry if they lose colour in places ther than hands and feet too, my ds was taken to hosp as he was blue all over drs still arent worried about him but hey thats nhs...........what you could do is before you put lo down for the night either pop on tumble(even if dry)or on raidiator babies sleepsuit and sheet, dress them and wrap them up as lo will absorb the heat as they are dosing off so may help(always worth a try) and again in the morning even if you run an iron over clothes just to give that extra bit of heat.

may help may not but always worth a go

my sons bedroom is really cold and i wrap him up warm and put the heating on but he still wakes up with ice cold hands. it doesnt seem to bother him though. im dreading the winter when his room gets colder at night, think i'll have to swap bedrooms with him!

my dd2 always wakes up with freezing cold hands, even when heatings been on...   it really worries me...   obviously at 6months her hands are too big for the scratchmits which i had been using...

anybody any ideas what i could do or put on?    tried socks last night but before i woke she had them off!!!  and i think outdoor mittens would be too warm, do you think?????  am thinking of making something, any suggestions!!!!
