well he woke up at half3 this morning and was not going to settle... tried giving him a bottle and was not taking it... he was trying to settle but just was not happening bless him.... so i decided to turn the light on and he was wide awakeand his cheeks was red as a beatroot.... so yes i think he teething more now and not coping as well as he has been.

so we was up till about 5 with him

when i decided to go and make him another bottle and he had that burped and went to sleep so had a few hrs sleep

so yeah i do think thats he is teething.

and as to going to bed on a ful belly what else am i ment to do if he hungry. it can not be helped if i have a big baby and he wants loads of food ???

Could it be teething?

My ds wakes at 7.00 feed him an 8oz bottle then he usually sleeps for an hour

then at 10.30 i give him baby cereal with 7oz bottle

at around 2.00 another 7oz bottle

then at 6.00 will give him 10 to 15 spoonfuls of baby food followed by 7oz bottle

then bath and in bed for 7.00.

Starting tomorrow will be giving him 3 meals a day.

I do the 7am bottle, 9.30 bottle & brekkie, 12.30 bottle & lunch, 4pm bottle & tea and 7pm bottle. As he has his tea a bit earlier he usually power naps for 20 mins about 5pm then after bath etc he is a bit more awake for his last bottle before bed.

He does sometimes wake up a bit earlier (between 5.30-6.30am) but luckily he never wakes up screaming so I leave him to amuse himself in his cot for a bit then feed him at 7am as normal - most of the time he just goes back to sleep after 10 mins of cooing anyway then wakes back up at 7.

Hi my lo is nearly 5 months and has exactly the same amount of food and each feed 7oz. He too wakes at around 4/5am but we just give him his dummy and he sleeps until 6/7am and then has his first feed, Wat i have been trying to do is feed him slight earlier for each feed say half hour and then he has just porridge and a couple of ounce of milk around 6 and then another couple of ounce around 8 at which time he is dying for his bed and sleep. Being honest he doesnt seem to change his routine whether he has his last feed at 6 or 8. x

Don't take this the wrong way but this all sounds like a lot of feeding.  Could it be wind or bellyache?  They'll be sleeping on very full stomachs.

I have the same problem too.  DS feeds:

wakes about 7am porridge & 6oz of milk about 8am.

jar full of lunch & half a jar of pudding at 11:30am

2:30 6oz of milk

4:30 another 6oz of milk

6pm porridge

7-7:30 8oz of milk.

I dream feed at 11ish but he wakes again at 3am!!

hey hun my lo has just started wakin at 6-6.30 she has her baby breakfast at 6.45 then she has a 7oz bottle at bout 8.30ish she then goes down to bed for a nap when she wakes she has a big bowl of fruit or veggies at bout 12ish then she has a 5oz bottle she will then have a nap in the afternoon followed by a 7oz bottle at 3.30-3.45ish she then has a light tea at bout 5.30 she may have a short 30min nap after depending what the time is. she will normally have a bath bout 7ish then play for a while then has a bottle of 7oz hungry baby milk at bout 7.45ish then to bed.

yeah i was thinking about making his tea earlyer then getting him to have a bottle at half 7 when he gets out the bath and hope that helps.... thats hun.... will updatein a few days to see how its going

My ds is also 5 mths and has similar to your lo re:breakie, lunch n tea. He has his tea at 3.30/4ish then last bottle at 7/7.30. He'll have 8oz b4 bed then sleeps till 7.30ish hthxxxx  

right ok marcus is 5 months now well yesterday and i have been feeding him meals 3 times a day now for about a month and half

he wakes at like half 6 in morning and has a full 90z bottle (the cow and gates 6+ month milk)

then at half 9 he has porrage and another bottle of ,milk

then at 1 i feed him some lunch and another bottle of milk

then at 5 he has like summing sweet like  cookie crumble thing from cow and gates with another bottle

then i bath him at like 7 and try and feed him a bottle at hal7 when he gets out of the bath but not taking it.

goes straight to sleep after that but then wakes up at like 4/5 as though he wants another feed

now i have been feeding posts all day long that they should start weening there baby a bit more ect ect but what can i do with my little boy to make him sleep a little bit more during the night ?
