It's a mothercare snoozie I think it's called. There's no heating on in her room, but I've got a thermometer on her baby monitor and it's been saying either 19 or 20 degrees the past couple of nights.

is it a grobag brand? because the thermometer card in the pack has a temperature guide with what clothes to have baby in depending on the ambient temp.

Hi there, my ds will wake in the night when he gets cold, he really feels the cold (like his mummy) n likes to be snug in bed, think its definately gone colder at night last few wks. He's been in his 6-12mth sleeping bag since he was 4mths. Its much warmer than his 0-6mth coz i got that one for the summer, and it was startin to get small round his arms too. I still put him in bottom half of his cot tho jus outta habbit really n he loves to wriggle some nights. Makes me laugh when i can hear him bangin his legs down in the night!!!hth hun xxxx

Hiya, thanks. I think I've leave the vest for tonight, and just put her in a babygro - is she's still cold I'll use a vest tomorrow. Did you fold the end of the sleeping bag over the bottom of the cot to keep it out of the way?

Hi there, my lo went into his 6-18 sleeping bag at around 4 1/2 months because like you i felt that the 0-6 wasnt worth it.  He was fine. I just put a sleepsuit on Josh or pyjama's.  I always put him in the feet to foot position with bottom folded over the top, but he is just a right wriggler when he's sleeping so he nearly always ends up the othe end of the cot!

Hi all, my LO is 5 months old and she's started waking during the night again despite beginning to wean her on the least feed of the day (usually about 6pm) on the advice of my health visitor. I reckon she's cold as she always kicks the covers off and I think this might be waking her up, cos when she cries during the night it's a tired cry rather than a hungry cry but she will only go back to sleep after a bottle.

Anyway, we bought a sleeping bag for her today. We bought a 6-18 month, 2.5 tog one. But I'm really confused. Can I put her in it straight away although she's only 5 months - there was no point buying a 0-6 month one as she'll grow out of it soon. Also, now it's getting colder I'm dressing her in a vest and babygro but is this too much in a sleeping bag? And where do you put the baby in the cot? I've been putting her to sleep with her feet down the bottom as everyone recommends but the sleeping bag is far too long so should I put the bottom of the sleeping bag at the bottom of the cot and just let her sleep wherever her head is?!?!

    Thanks for any advice,

    xx
