What pill were you on. I was on mini pill -cerazette and got preg straight away from coming off it, and I mean straight away, 2nd week!!!
I mentioned to mw how shocked I was at this but she said it was common in the mini pill to get preg soon after coming off it, it acts like a major fertility boost, I'm not sure of the science behind that! but that's what she said. Could be a load of tosh though, you know what mw's are like for advice, lol.

The No sex method LMAO.
No seriously sorry, i am not actually using any myself although i did pick up the pill from dr's I wont have the coil because we are wanting another baby in the near future and when i asked about it they like you to wear it for 5 years and i will be planning another befre then.
So atm we use condoms. we do run the risk of one splitting but if that happend and we got pregnant we would just go with the flow, just a little earlier than planned.
I have a friend who was also dim she got an infection from her coil fitting but i know that it is not that common just a risk involved.
The injection i've had before and didnt agree with me, made me put on 3 stone in 2 months!! took me years to shift that weight.
The implant is supposed to be quite good but aparently can mess with your periods, some people have no periods some people have a really long one.
Hope some of this helps, although i've rambled a bit.

Hi Ladies
would you mind sharing what contraception you are using now? I was on the pill for 13 years before conceiving my baby. However it took us such a long time that i dont fancy the pill again.
I was thinking the coil .... any experiances you can share x

Hi, I was in the exact same position after having my lo in May and didnt want to go back on the pill, so had to decide between implant and coil, I decided on Mirena coil as i wasnt keen on having injection in my arm. I was soooo worried about having the coil fitted esp after reading all those websites and I can absolutely say it didnt hurt atall (I am a big baby with everything!) , had it done last friday and after a day of like period pains nothing since. Its only a very small plastic thing and was no worse than having an internal when you were pregnant.
If you want to have a baby before five years then the doctor said they will just take it out no problem, alot of people dont get periods atall and people that do they are very light.
