hi there. yes took my dd to turkey for a month when she was 10 weeks and just come back from another month yesterday, she is now 24 weeks. they do make you taste the milk, but there are boots chemist through in all departure areas where you can buy any extra supplies. i think the best way is as before, take the powder and fill up bottles in departures or on aircraft. i found aptamil available in turkey but was twice the price, so took more this time with and less nappies as they were a similar price. also dont know if you use infacol but i havent found this to be available anywhere other than uk.

Hi i went to spain with my DD when she was 5 months, i took a ready made bottle and also a carton through as well! Then once through i brought a few cartons from Boots aswell. They made me try the ready made bottle but took the carton away and baby food aswell for testing! It only took a minute! This was at stansted airport, not sure what other airports are like?Think it would be best to see what the airports policy is about taking baby formula on board before you arrive!Just incase!

Hello I made up a big bottle at home which my lo drunk when we got to the airport.

I also took some formula powder separately and some milk which I mixed in the car when we got to the airport and left the tin of formula in the car.  We then took this big bottle of 9oz on the plane.  They made me taste this at checkout.

We also took a carton of SMA but you can buy these cartons at most airports and take them on the plane.

We used an avent thermobag which keeps the milk for 4 hours x

you can only take 100 mls fluid in any container so cartons aren't allowed as far as I'm aware - if you take them, if they don't confiscate them they may make you open them to taste then they'd have to be used within an hour.  I think the best way is to take empty sterilised bottles with milk powder separately and get the bottles filled at a cafe the other side of security.  We're off next week too but I'm still bf so no worries there - phew!

When my sister took my niece who was then only 6 months she took some ready made up bottles for the plane and had to drink a bit out of them when going through security. not sure about the ready made cartons as I think you can only take 3oz of liquids on a plane. I would give the customer services at the airport a call and make sure on the policy.
