when i first had lo every person that came tosee her give me advise and my mum hasnt stopped until i told her i have to make my own mistakes and i no best for my baby im with her 24 7 i no her ways so anything she says goes in one ear and out the other i told her to stop giving me advise but if i was stuck or unsure about something then i would ask which has seemed to work. or i get you used to do that when you were her age or i used to do that with you when you were a baby oh they are so anoying some times lol

My mum is a god send - my mother in law!!!!!!!! 'Did you know you have to clean under babies chin, oh look he's dirty, his finger nails are a bit long, arn't they, he's teething don't you know, he needs calpol, don't burp him like that do it like this'. Th anoying thing is she had four kids and knows her stuff, its just the way she delivers it that I can't deal with. It's realy hard when facing criticism (sp) but you DO know best and are the best person in the world for your baby. People can give you all the advice in the world but no one will ever have your babies best interests at heart quite like you do.

do any of your mothers intefere with how u bring up your children mineis driving me mad she always starts by saying  ''im not teaching my grandma to suck eggs BUT'' she moaned earlier that i feed my daughter when she has just woken up its really upsetting me as with my 1st dd i had really bad postnatal depression which was mainly around me thinking im a bad mum please tell me im not alone sorry for moaning xxx
