hi thanks for getting back to me its now like a blotchy rash with a temp it does look like a viral infection my eldest son had it but the gp didnt give him any med due to his age but with my dd being 12 months will she need a gp or will they just say the same that it will go on its own

i think it just heat rash when the body get high temp.it will gone.many people said calpol can make baby unsettle because of the ingredients, flavouring or something lke that.when my lo in high temp,i give her medinol paracetamol from prescription

Hi, my lo had just got over a rash she had for over a week.  She also had a high temp at first and was off her food but the doctor said it was a viral rash.  She had little red spots all over her body and they did last over a week but then just disappeared over night and she is now all happy again

Hi, my son had a rash for the past week whihc has just faded but it was kinda the same.. he went off food a bit but was still drinking his milk but also had a temp.

We spent 4 hours at A&E, the went to the GP twice and they didnt know what it was, the last doc mentioned Hives which i think it was... all they said was it might be a viral rash

Ds started as litlle red spots but grew into big ones which pale centre and red outside..

Hi, has it been like three days of high temperature and then a rash  on the forth day?

Because  my dd has just had this. Everything you described was similar. We took her to the doctors and he said viral infection, would go away soon. It  is all gone (rash lasted three days) now and she sleeps well again and looks happy.

my dd is 12 months old and she has developed a rash on her body shes off her food im giving her plenty of fluids she hasnt got the runs or sick or anything like that she just wont eat shes crying all the time and has a temp im giving her calpol and she wont settle at night dont know what this could be [ive done thepress test and it dissapears so its not meningitas could it be a viral infection as i dont know what else to do for her any advice please would be apreciated.
