After last nights moan on here my mil asked us over for tea,i very gratefully accepted as my in-laws love lewis and keep him busy so i can relax.

Anyway we had a lovely meal and fil dished up dessert-syrup sponge custard, piping hot.

Lewis decided he wanted some and grabbed dh`s bowl and put his fingers into the red hot syrup.his fingers are all blistered and sore.he screamed for ages while we cooled them down.took him home and he`s been asleep for an hour.I feel awful for him and dh,he is blaming himself but Lewis was so quick grabbing the bowl.

i dont know where to start.my ds is 11 months old,and has recently refused to sleep on his own.We have let him sleep with us-i know it`s a bad idea but dh is up for work at quarter to five in morning,so needs to sleep.Anyway he has been getting clingy with me lately but today has been ridiculous.

He becomes hysterical if i leave the room,Dh has the man flu and wont help so since 7 this morning ive had ds clinging to me and im starting to get angry.I would never lay a finger on him but i can feel resentment building up for my dh because he`s just gone off to bed.

The thing is when dh is better and i come down with his bug i just have to get on with it.

I sound a selfish cow but i wish i could have a couple of hours break from ds-i havn`t had a bath since he was born cos a shower is quicker.

sorry for the moan.and please don`t think i don`t love my boy because he is my world-but a bit of help would be so nice.
