Im taking my lo to be weighed on thursday i know she is gaining weight its just that they seem to think its not enough!.x will let everyone know what she weighs now at exactly 10 months and a week.x

I have always worried about  my daughters weight. I have bf`d her till she was 5 months old so worried it was my milk changed it to formula. I asked the doc if he could refer us to a peadatrician so he did. Saw two docs at a time, well, they both said shes  just a petite baby, doing everything what her age group should.Very active like yours.But I still wasnt satisfied so they refered us to a dietician, we are seeing her on the 28th of this month than a check up again with the docs. I am already concentrating only on high calori foods like cheese,pasta,avocado, probably doing everything what the dietician is gonna tell us but you know being a mother you want everything to be perfect...

My daughter weighs  aound 16 pounds, shes on the 9th centile.Both her weight and height.Shes 9 months and a week old in two days. I will let you know how I go with the dietician.

I know if you are little, like myself your little one, like mine, gonna be little BUT,,, with the right foods these days children are more taller and bigger than their parents.....

my lo is very slim but properly taller than your lo's as has always been tall and slim she is 18lb 2oz at nearly 11months i dont get the hv's if your baby was fat they would complain and if they r petite they complain at end of day all i think is id rather have a slim baby than a fat baby they will only eat when they hungry my lo has been on cows milk early too as she loves it you know whats right for your baby.

hv's are a nightmare they contradict eachother all the time as long as lo is happy and active then dont worry. all babies are different, they havent read the book they dont knw whats they should be like.

the only person that knows a baby is their parents/guardians. sod health visitors they go by the book. i got told off by one of my new hv's (moved so transferred to different centre) for weaning my lo at 3.5 months but my first hv said it ok as you know when your lo is ready.

A  question on weight (sorry a bit long)my dd just turned 10months and around 3 weeks ago she weighed 14 pound 8  .

The hv said her weight gain is sluggish and i should maybe bring her back in around a month so i will probably go next week to get her weighed.

She eats 3 meals a day and snacks and around 3 bottles of milk ,but she is very active full of energy and almost walking.

Im quite petite myself not even 5ft! so i suppose she is quite small for her age but im getting so many comments from people like ohh she is so light compared to my baby etc.. Also different hv keep telling me different things! i changed over to full fat cows milk when she was around 9 months and she is loves it.. one hv said thats fine and another looked at me as if i was a bad mother! (this is the one that said her weight gain is sluggish) but only 2 weeks before another hv said i dont need to worry cows milk is fine and she isnt ever going to be a big baby and she is burning of fat now due to being so active!

I dont know what to think now! one mnt im fine and then im thinking oh no what am i doing wrong! 

Sorry to dribble on..! anyway my question is that should i be worried?

Anyone elses 10month old at this weight?
