My little girl was exactly the same loved the bath then at 6 months hated it. i just kept trying and trying put a warm flannel over her body and she would calm down . then i got in with her once and since then she has been fine loves her bath again. hth. xx

I wnet through this a little while ago with my son who is 7 months he was like it for a week or so and the grew out of it. Singing helps.. and pretty much anything that takes attention away from the water. He also goes swimming everyweek and loves it so that could help too. Good luck x

Can you take her swimming regularly and have lots of fun?  Maybe that would help.

aw poor thing - do you think maybe she has a little cut or sore somewhere that you haven't seen, that could be stinging in the water? do you have buttle bath in the water? sorry that's the only thing I can think of.

Thanks for replying ladies - yes we have tried bath toys i think that we might have to try a different time and maybe getting in with her?

Do you have any bath toys for her? My youngest was like that till i discovered she liked to be sang too in the bath.

Aww hun i don't know what to say but didn;t want to read and run.. she doesn't have a reason to not like water does she? Like slipped over in the water? I'm not quite sure.. my son love the water too but if he soon didn't like his baths then i wouldn't know what the problem was have you tried have a bath with your little one? So that she doesn't feel scared? xx

my lo has always loved the bath since she was born so much so she cried when it was time to come out.

the last couple of days she has absolutley sobbed when going in the bath and immediately stops crying if you take her out! has this happened to anyone else?

i always checked the temp, i take it really steady and slow and now i just dont know what to do....

matilda is 6 months old tomorrow
