We seem to be at this stage as well. My son is very similar, can get up on all fours but can't go anywhere. He has just started pulling himself up but can't quite get up onto his feet. He can commando crawl along on his belly but it doesn't get him places fast enough, when trying to chase his 3 year old brother and it is making him a bit short tempered at the moment. He gets very frustrated just like your lo. When I'm holding him, he pushes me away or tries to take off walking even though he can't even stand up yet lol It must be very frustrating for them, knowing what they want but not being able to do it. It wont last too long though. Before you know it they'll be running about and you'll be wishing they were sat in once place again to give you a break lol x

i know it's hard but try not to let it get to you... he'll do it when he's ready.  there isn't much you can do to help him really, i just got down on the floor with Belle and crawled around a lot.  Seeing other babies do it was what really spurred her on though same with her walking.  She wasn't trying to walk until we went and spent the afternoon with our friends and thier lo boy who had been walking about 3 weeks or so.. She was fascinated by him and took her first steps on that day and within a week she was doing 20+ steps.  She's quite confident now, but still a bit wobbly.

They all reach their milestones at different ages. My brother never crawled, he went straight to walking. As frustrating as it is for him he will get there when he is ready. xx

My ds is 10 and a half months and he cannot crawl or pull himself up, he has always been a very content happy baby up till the last few weeks, he is just desperate to get moving and gets so cross that he cant.  He gets onto all fours but doesnt know what to do next so he either go flat to his tummy or he goes back to sitting, i try to encourage him by moving toys away and crawling on the floor myself but he just gets so cross and upset.  He can walk round the furniture but cannot pull himself up and again he gets soooo cross that he cant do it.

Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?? When we meet up with his little friends they are all moving around crawling and pulling themselves up so this gets him more frustrated that he cant join in.
