At 2am this morning these teething powders were a god send!

Im a great fan of them lol, even though the only way to get Logan to have them is to let him cry whilst he is lay in his playnest - believe me i have tried every other way - and then when he opens his mouth to cry pop them in there! it takes a matter of mins for him to be contented again - well along with a big mummy hug too!

Hi, I use Nelsons powders as well and think they are great.  Been to boots today and they are doing 3 for 2 on herbal remedies, so works out to £3.20 each.

    Hi,

sorry didn't check the computer before, do a search on google for 'amber baby necklace' and there are a few sites selling them. Hollistic shops might do too.

Hope it works for your little one, worth a try.

    Hi,

I swear by these too! My lo opens her mouth automatically when i open a sachet and settles really fast after it.

I wasn't impressed by the fact that chemists don't store them with the teething remedies but with the homeopathic treatments, took me ages to find them at first!!

Also, and I know lots of you will go 'yeah, right!', I've been using an amber necklace that i tie around her ankle at night. Amber has soothing properties when in contact with the skin that people often forget. They can be found on the internet or nature shops and they do work!! I didn't really believe it worked at first but was offered one and tried it!

Anyone who experienced the horror of a screaming baby in the middle of the night should give it a try!!

ha ha yes we have to pour it in quick when ds is crying and then he spends a few minutes looking confused and sucking it and then he is calm

A tip for everyone who hasn't used these before - it's a two person job!  My lo clamps his mouth shut and moves his head from side to side so most of it goes on his face - we have to wait for him to scream and pour it in quickly lol!  They do seem to calm him down though.

Just checked the box and they do contain Lactose I'm afraid, it says on the box " If your baby has an intolerance to lactose, talk to your doctor before using this product."

hi i use either these or the boots own ones as i think they are great-one of the tips i give my friends with new babies for sure.

i love the fact they are homeopathic as therefore natural and none of the gels etc ever worked. these cover the whole mouth and do work quick. worked well with both my sons and i was out with a friend who said her baby couldnt sleep that morning cos of teething-gave her a sachet to try and within 5 mins baby was asleep

not sure if lactose in them but i dont think so

Are they lactose free my lo is suffering with her teeth and nothing is working. Aston and parsons are lactose based and can't use them as she ia lactose intolerant.

Yes, they are fine to use with Calpol as there are homeopathic so no paracetamol in them. Hope they help LO. x

Hi, I use these for Louis - 7.5 months. In fact he has just had some as wouldn't settle for morning nap. He dozed off within minutes of having them, I think they are great!
