Hi, glad to know im not on my own lol.

I put him in his sleeping bag and he was wide awake at 1am but he did go back to sleep eventually till 4.45 then that was it for the morning.

Ive noticed his very back top teeth have come through (I knew one had, but the other side has appeared) so im guessing thats what's disturbing him.

Fingers crossed he will sleep better soon!!

My 10 month old used to do this all the time. Just upped his blankets and also set the heating to come on at 3 in the morning and he slept till 6.30 today!

Hiya, thanks ever so much, I 'm going to try his sleeping bag again.

I switched to using a zip up fleece suit so he could sit up easier in his cot and now you mention about your lo being cold,  I bet it isnt as warm as his sleeping bag. Ive put him back in it tonight, so fingers crossed it might do the trick.

    Thanks hun

    Hey Hun,

I had this problem with my lo too and as i advised one of the other ladies it may be worth trying more clothes or bedding at night. I found my lo waking anywhere between 2 and 4 am and i think it was because he was cold s he now goes to bed with a thicker or long sleeve vest a sleepsuit a 2.5tog sleeping bag and a small light blanket and i now dont hear from him at all between 7pm to 7am. I also made his bath a wee bit warmer and his milk too as it is soo much cooler atnight now.  Hope this helps you hun x x x

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone else having this problem.

DS used to wake up at 6 - 6.30ish (which I thought wasn't great but got used to it) but for the past few days he has been wide awake at 4am and will not go back to sleep.

Ive tried ignoring him (but he wakes my other children up (12 and 16 and they have school so I don't really want them disturbed), tried rocking him, giving a drink of water (he doesn't want), anbesoling his teeth etc.

He goes to sleep anywhere between 6 - 7 (doesn't matter if its later, he's still awake the same time)

Could it just be a phase/growth spurt? He isn't hungry, just won't go back to sleep?

    Thanks in advance
