Edie is nearly 8 months and is a very small eater and she was born at 41 weeks!! She has never been able to manage more than 5oz milk in one go and although she is on 3 meals a day, they aren't that big but will not take anymore.

I am trying to up her intake in the day to help her sleep through at night but I guess she will only eat what she can fit in her tummy!!!

Hi... my twins are fairly small eaters. They have 4 5 oz bottles a day... (which is a huge struggle to get into them. The only one they tend to finish nowadays is the last one of the day.)

They have 3 meals but don't eat alot really. I try not to worry, but it's hard. lol!!

ps. they were born at 30 weeks.

My LO loves her food but doesn't eat huge amounts, but then think of what recipe books, chefs etc say...a portion is the size of your fist so an adult male will eat more than an adult female for example. Just think how tiny our LO's hands are!

    I have a questionSarahKaiya's mummy

Kaiya is a very small eater, with her milk she'll have around 3oz 3x a day and food wise will have maybe 5-6 spoons before she's had enough ( unless it's weetabix or yoghurt then she's will eat loads ) just wondering if anyone else has this problem. She doesn't seem hungry and can go 3-4 hrs between small meals. I tend to put it down to the fact that she was born at 32 weeks so still has a tiny tummy but was curious to see if anyone else's lo don't eat much. I hope she's not the only one.
