I live in Nottingham and had my hen night in Nottingham (boring I know but I'm not really one for going out clubbing!). We went to a place called Bistro Live which is a sit down meal then disco or live band (depending which night u book)....it was fantastic!! The only place I know that is designed for dancing on tables!!!

The nightlife is good and the pubs are very accomadating of big groups - especially with girls!! (Male bouncers!)

There is also loads of stuff to do during the day, with quite a few spa places that you can get pampered!!

With East Midlands airport not too far away, it would be easy to get to.

Wherever you choose to go I'm sure you'll have a fab weekend!!

I just got back from a Hen in Dublin yesterday. It was BILLIANT... would def reccomend

We had a meal in Temple Bar (Area for clubs) went out in the evening to M Bar, we called before and got a VIP area

Shopping there in the daytime is really good too

Dublin can be a bit fussy for hen nights about letting you into places. I had mine in Harrogate - went to spa then out for meal and drinks which was fab, but also went on a really good one in Edingburgh (know some good appartments can recommend that you can hire for weekend without stress of hotel) or for my sisters we went to see Mama Mia in London - it was fab - we got great tickets and had a lovely hotel that wasn't too pricey. Last weekend hen do i went on was in nottingham. We went horse riding-not good with a hangover (was a few years ago) a day spa and a comedy club in th evening. Was great but expensive. I think you might get a better deal going abroad.

I saw some pics of a friend of a friends hen do the other day and they had all dressed up as characters from little britain- very funny
