Hi i have a nappy problem!!

My lo is 7mths and wearing pampers active fit nappies i have also tried pampers baby dry, however they are leaking at night so my lo is woken, and this is causing problems as its disturbing her plus i am having to change clothes and Bed linen everytime ! .....

As many of you know this is a nightmare....! especially more washing and getting lo to settle again off to sleep after changing her. I thought maybe she was drinking more but only the usual 3 feeds sometimes a top up at night. but not convinced this is the cause. Surly nappies should last at least 10hrs at night!

I have recently got her weighed and moved to the next size to see if this solved the problem, but last night leaked again! arrrrh!

Has anyone any suggestions??? Thankyou x

I had the exact same thing with pampers & cant use huggies because they give Lucas a rash. We tried the bigger size which didnt help either so moved onto sainsburys own brand. We'r onto our 3rd pack & no leaks as of yet J x

    Thank you everyone

I think i may try Asda and huggies nappies and see how we get on, also will make sure the nappy is snug!

I have found the nappy i am using is leaking out the top, so used size 4 last night and the size 4 seemed to work however there is always tonight!!

I found Asda Little Angels to be the best disposables for both my boys (and my 3 year old will only wear Asda pullups at night, as he says the others scratch him).

I use washable nappies on my 11 month old now with Motherease wraps, and I've found them to be a lot better than any disposables.  I wish I'd found them with my first baby.

The only advice I could give you is you have to keep trying different brands because what is good for 1 baby isn´t good for another, I had the problem with DS a bit back, waking up wet every night, I too tryed going up a size but that didn´t work so tryed other brands, I was very looky that different friends had given me different brands to try so was able to try before I buy, I then found a shops own brand which you don´t have in the U.K and Pampers baby dry worked for him in the night. Maybe you have a friend who uses a different brand to you + you could ask her if you could try one of their lo´s one night to see if he keeps dry!  I had the same problem with DD when she was little she was ok with pampers then at 14mths started leaking so changed to a shops own brand then after a few months she started leaking with them so had to change to Huggies! Good Luck! xx.
