I had the same thing and it was a call centre, an insurance company try staying on the lime longer and if it is a call centre tell them they have the wrong number and to take it off their list. Think a call centre uses a automated thing that picks out random numbers and when you answer it takes a while to be put through to a human .. hope you get it sorted i know its extremely irritating xx

Well a text just came through saying 'hi love how are you? but the idiot couldnt do a private number text so I called the number til the answer phone came on, then two minutes later another text came through from some random guy in batley (???) asking me to go on a date! WTF? Only on tesco pay as you go so will be getting a new sim tmw! Was so worried at first all sorts of thoughts were going through my head as to who it could be! x x

or not answer and reject straight away x

i got these a few years ago. turned out mine were from a call centre!! gave my jealous ex great ammo against me! grrrr

Hi, I keep getting calls on my mobile from a 'private number' and when I answer the person doesnt say anthing and I then hang up, mostly they are at night (anything between midnight and two in the morning) but had one about five minutes ago. I am getting a bit worried as surely if someone got the wrong number it wouldnt happen this many times? How can I stop these calls does anyone know? Sorry I keep posting tnt!x
