    What is the credit crunch, i know it something to do with the interest rates, and everythin going up in price, but where did it all start, why is it going on? I read it in the papers etc but im blonde and dont quite get it???! lol

    The news is depressing but the media are scaremongerers.

    50 years ago there was mass unemployment which is why people were in such states, more people are in work than not, so taxes are being paid, things are being bought in shops, basically money is still turning around so it'll never get to a serious bad state - I like to stay positive about it anyway. Yes, our bills are more expensive, but I think that it will only affect us to the point that we'll have to live without luxuries ...

    Does anyone else find the news really depressing at the mo?(not that the news is ever nice). I know the credit crunch is going to have a huge effect on everyone but it seems like you can't escape it even for a minute? So much doom and gloom. It seems the more they talk about it on the neews the worse they make it!x
