I sell and buy a lot off ebay and not being able to leave buyers negative or neutral feedback really pee's me off.

Most people r fine but since the feedback has changed I'm getting a few chancers. a few wks ago someone bought an Oasis dress from me, she first messaged me to say that the colours looked different that in the pic and it didnt suit her, then she came back and said she didnt like it on. I wouldnt normally offer for her to send it back but I did just to be nice. Now I've heard nothing and the dress hasnt been sent back, luckily I havent refunded her, however she has now not replied to the dispute and 3 emails I've sent.

    ARGH.

I'm a fashion graduate so I'm in the middle of making pram liners and bugaboo hoods to sell on ebay but I'm starting to be put off!!!

I think a lot of people have messaged E-bay about this matter. Just to top it all off.....E-bay are now deleting the feedback given on the positive status....saying the 'this feedback has been deleted!' So now other sellers can't see the negative feedback! Does that make sense?

I think we should all petition ebay to stop being so stupid and unfair to sellers. After all, we are the ones who pay them fees! They can't dictate positive feedback, or they may as well not give that option at all.

Yes I noticed that sellers can't leave negative feedback. Can they leave neutral feedback as that effect sscores as well? If not, what is the point of giving sellers any chance of leaving feedback, as they can't tell it like it is, and it doesn't help other sellers either. I can fully see why you are angry.

What really gets me on E-bay is that sellers can’t leave negative feedback. I have sold an item of clothing to someone and they have not paid or replied to any messages. A dispute has been started but nothing as yet. Looking at her feedback profile she has done the same to loads of people and none of them can’t leave negative feedback....so he/she still got 100% positive feedback! ITS SOOOOO ANNOYING!

    Rant over!

P.S She/he had positive feedback when I sold the item 3 weeks ago, but since 20th June its all been bad.

Dont get me started on timewaters! I'm an Ebay shop owner (have my own www. shop too) and it took one woman 4 weeks to pay me for her purchases! She tried paying me in several different currencies before I suggested she write me a cheque. She sent it, but didnt sign it and it was for the wrong amount... The type of person you get depends on the category you list in. 99.8% of my buyers are lovely but its mainly Mums who buy from me. (I sell baby skincare products)

I dont think they will get anymore than a warning if its the first unpaid item in the last 30 days. You can set your preferences so that people with 2 or more unapid item disputes in the last 30 days cant bid. You can also stop new ebayers buying but I dont have any problems with them as they want the good feedback.

what a time waster, hope her score gets effected by it

i'm having probs the other way i bought 2 games for my ds leapster total £15 paid immediately through paypal on the 14th june, a week later i emailed her to see if theyve been dispatched after a few emails to get het attention she said she sent them  a week ago and she would look into where they have gone, i saw on her page she was selling the same games again, she then emailed me last week to see if i wanted replacements as she can't find them in the post, i said yes as i do want the games. i emailed her a few day later to see if she's dispatched them then on monday she said they have been posted, so hopefully i will get them sometime this week, but i think she is a crap seller who has given me very little contact.

cheers for the replies.  i filed an unpaid dispute as we both decided not to agree with the purchase.  i hate time wasters.  what annoyed me the most was after bidding the buyer asked to try.  at least they could have asked qs before bidding.  also, they have so far denied to reply to the dispute.  does anyone know if their account would get barred as they are a new ebay member?  i have also blocked this person from trying to buy any items from me again

In your my ebay section you need to go into dispute console. Then click on report an unpaid item. Follow that through and in a week (max) ebay will give you the fees back.

Hiya ive just sold some baby reins on ebay, and the person who has bought them now says she would like to try before she buys (even though shes from leicester and im in south wales).  i have messaged her back about this stating that she basically shouldnt have bid for them if she wasnt serious about buying.  has anyone any experience of this sort of thing, and how to go about resolving this.  i dont want negative feedback from this as i received retaliative feedback in the past
