yep i definatly think its a phase at this age my dd is pushing it too, the otherday she got hold of a small vase i have with a single flower in and obviously i told her no immediatly but before i could get to her she threw it and it smashed! She climbs onto anything, the bay window sil the dining table anything shes a nightmare, she always grabs things she shouldnt and when i tell her no she launches it and laughs! I have started the naughty corner the last week and its beginning to work the minute she does something she shouldnt i tell no and pop her in the naughty corner away from toys and tv etc tell her why shes there a walk away she does cry but now she stays there and after 5 minutes i go back and ask her to say sorry to which she gives me a cuddle and a kiss then alls fine again

I know exactly how you feel. My dd is really destructive. I was hoovering upstairs last week and called down to make sure she was ok and didnt hear anything back. Went running downstairs and found her ripping all the keys off my laptop. It took me ages to get them back on. Then an hour later, she threw one of my new plates on the floor. I cant leave her on her own to watch tv while i do housework anymore. Just dont trust her to behave, I think its just attention seeking mainly but my dd is pushing a lot of boundarys as well

omg, sounds just like  my ds2 in the mornings lol - he has broken so many things already, he is catching up with ds1!  he did my glasses in about 6 months ago, i couldn't get a new pair and am as blind as a bat without them, had to put sticky tape round the arm until they oredered a new part, which was weeks!  it looked so stupid!

My little madams 21 months tomrroa and she's been a nightmare for the past 2 weeks. going down really late.. 10pm if not later n getting up at 6.30 refusing to snuggle back down or even stay in bed and then only  a 20 min nap at 12 so needless to sa i'm on my nose as i'm a single mother... wel today was the las straw i could have killed her.. she didt go down till 11pm last nigth then 6.30 was up so gave her a bottle in bed n put a disney dvd on for her thinking she'd watch it so i coudl atleast rest in ebd a little longer.. ummmmmmm o chance... 10 mins later she ws using me like a bouncy caslte and then had a tantrumas i refused to get up... it wasn't even 7am

so  i rolled over n thought i'd ignore her for 5 see if that would work and it did but then i felt somethign poke me in the eye.. instead of handing me my specs like she has doen for the past week she had decided to openthe arms n put them on my face.. only one problem.. she's snapped the arm off.. luckely they have not broken 100% but I can't aford a new pair  only had these 6 mnths so off later to try n get the arm unbuckled and a new screw fitted.... how i've not lost my temper with her i'll never know as i feel like i'm ready to explode... :-(
