Thanks. I've only noticed it today but my mum has been mentioning it for a couple of weeks now. My mum also swears that my dd needs glasses. She holds things up really close to her face before she 'sees' what it is.  I've worn glasses since I was two and apparently I was just the same. Think i might have a word with my hv in the morning.

    Hello Kitten

My ds is the same. I went to the dr who reffered him to the hospital.. I have waited about 2 months, and he finally got his app for next tuesday. I was told it could be corrected with a patch.

Speak to your dr as soon as you can to avoid wait!

    xx

my son's got this problem since birth.I mentioned it to my hv and she referred me to an eye specialist in hospital,They regularly keep giving him eyetests,But have told me he needs an op to correct it as an eye patch is only used if his eye is weak.By the way has this problem just occured ?

I think I would go to docs first.  A little boy I know has to wear a patch over his eye to correct this but his brother did too and grew out of it by the time he was around 3 or 4 I think.

    Hey

I've noticed that my dd right eye has started turning outwards and other people are beginning to notice it. Do I go to my hv or straight to the opticians? Any advice gratefully received. Thanks in advance.
