she has a cushioned minature toilet seat to go on the big toilet.  We have one we keep in the car for when we're out and about and one we keep at home

she might not like your toilet seat do you do anything different when home like a childs seat or is your seat wooden as most seats when out and about are plastic.

thanks for the reply, sometimes she'll do it when i'm busy or sometimes it's when she's playing (but away from the house she'll stop playing and tell me or if I'm busy she'll come get me).  I have tried just putting her on the loo but she just goes completely rigid and throws a wobbler screaming and shouting and hitting.  I take her in with me when I'm going and she'll say she doesn't want to go, then when I'm half way thru a wee she says she needs to go so I stop and try and put her on the toilet and she screams 'no' and won't get on for a wee!  Am at a loss really, didn't know if it's just because it's the one thing in her life that she's completely in control of so she's making the most of me not being able to take any sort of control?  She also will try to removed her weewee clothes straight away and then want dry ones but today I got that mad I yelled at her, the poor little thing, and left her in her weewee clothes which she wasn't too impressed with!

dont ask just put her on the toilet at regular intervals, just say to her right lets go to the loo, she will soon get fed up of this and start telling you when she wants to go, if she is telling you when she is out, she is doing this in the house for attention, when she normally wee's hersefl are you busy doing the washing or cooking or something coz thats normally when they do something like this, just stop asking and take her say every 20 minutes she will get fed up before you do i promise xxxx

Hi, my DD is 20 months and has been toilet training for the last 1-2 months.  She's great when we're out and about and will always tell me if she needs a wee or a poo and will hold on until I can get her to a toilet.  The trouble is that at home she is awful and will more often that not just wee on the floor even if I've just asked her if she neeeds a wee wee.  She will still tell me if she needs a poo at home and will go on the toilet for that.  Not sure if she's just being lazy at home or if there's another reason? I know she's still only little but she does know the signs of needing a wee or she wouldn't tell me when we're out!  Just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem as it's starting to drive me nuts and I'm getting really fed up of clearing up wee all the time and it's costing a fortune in kitchen roll - lol.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated
