Hope everything goes well for you next week. Try not to worry too much as Doctors/nurses are trained to deal with shy children, and they may get all their answers through examination and from questions to you instead.

Let us know how it goes - hugs Xx

hiya just wanted to say good luck really, my dd2 also has this problem i went to dr ages ago and i finaly have an appointment to see a chiropodist on the 11th.

DD is 21 months, has been walking since 10 months but still falls over all the time cos her right foot turns in and she falls over it. (she had club foot as a child but they said it would correct itself)

Hope all goes well, have they said what will happen after the scan?

Ah poor you and Rhys, it's a horrible situation but you've just got to think that you'll have to get the x-ray done however you can, i'm sure the doctor is  used to dealing with small children and you've just got to remember that it's for Rhys' own good in the long run to find out what's wrong and how to treat it.

Hope it goes as smoothly as possible and good luck

    x

Since he was born his foot has always turned inwards bit too much! and had problems weight bearing,

well now they think cos of his birth (lack of oxygen) might of effected part of his brain

he seams ok himself its just when he runs his leg kicks out to the side and he cant run/walk without falling over still

    hes 21/22 months

have an urgent appointment at hospital on tuesday (already!!)

only thing is Rhys wont do or go to anyone but me, if his dad picks him up are talks to him he'll go shy cry etc....... so how will a doctor be able to see whats going on if he ask's Rhys to do owt

i hate hospitals, bring back memorys when he was rushed in a day old and i ended up seeig him on a x-ray table having tubes down him i have no one to go there with me Dp is working and cant get anytime off i feel soo awful
