hiya, since i had my ds (now 20mths) i have had recurring thrush which is very irritating and frsutrating so i can sympathise with you. it could be an allergy you are getting or it could be thrush. i went to my docs and he told me that thrush during or after a period is very common and can be down to the increase of bacteria and of course lack of air, etc. getting down there...iykwim!! mine is related to an ongoing illness i have but he has put me on "maintenance" which means i take an oral tablet once a month to keep it at bay. i would suggest seeing your gp to discuss it and hopefully get sorted asap

When im on my period & wearing sanitary towels (dont like tampons) I always get really bad itching down below. I have tried several brands incase that was the problem but I would still itch. A friend said it could be either an allergy to what the towel is made from, I think she said lanolin or maybe due to down there not getting any fresh air so it could be sweating which is causing the itch. Does anyone else get this or maybe know what might help it as its getting to the stage now that I was considering making a drs app to see if she would know anything ?
