Hello, I used it and like you with the contented book, I just used bits and pieces and adapted her ideas to suit us. I started training at 22 months and she will be 2 next Thursday. I found it had some very good tips in there. My DD was dry with wees by the middle of the first week but poos have been harder to tackle. I'd recommend a browse of the book, although my friend is completely against Gina Ford so its personal choice. Louise 36+2 with #2

Hi, I bought this book as I loved Gina Fords Contented Little Baby Book when my lo was older. I didn't stick rigidly to the routines, but adapted them to suit my lo as she suggested and it seemed to work well.
I was wondering if anyone has used the potty training book and what they thought of it.
Any tips?

I used the no cry potty tarining book by E pantly for months and it was very gnetle but nice as we were not pushing things just introducing the potty slowly, but it did feel like I needed to take th eolunge and say bye bye to nappies, so we used used the Gina Ford book and it worked well and quickly. I think the "one week" is an overstatment as even once they are using the potty most of the time the reminders and practice etc is an ongoing process over a period of months but thsi gave us a ick start and she was out of nappies and mostly and clean on day one of this (but we had done a lot of pre-potty training using the no cry potty books idea's
