    Hi, yeah you would still get working tax.

    They used to just ask that if u are taking unpaid leave after 6mnths to let them no but they have prob changed this to 9mnths now as most maternity leave is for 9mnths.

    When u go on mat leave you will need to work out your estimated earnings for that tax year. All you do is take 100.00 off your wage per week and give them that figure. Or you can ask them for advice when calling, they might be able to help you work out your earning.

    hiya, i think (don't quote me on this) that unless your not earning over the threshold you should get at least £10.47 a week but depending on your salary & circumstances you might get more. Remember you also get £50 child benefit a month aswell. x

    hi there,im a single mum to josh whose 22months and pregnant again due to go on maternity leave the end of nov

    i was wondering if u still get family tax credit n working tax credit when your on maternity leave?do u have to ring em to let them no n do u get any more money?

    im just really worried bout how im gonna cope with bills etc whislt on maternity leave so any advice would be great thx xx
