my ds keeps doing this too, although it's wee wee rather than poo. he keeps sitting on his potty too fully clothed! i've started taking him up whenever i go to the loo (quite a lot as i'm pregnant!) and putting him on without his nappy but he hasn't done anything yet. i'm gonna be so excited when he does though lol!

I would just keep taking his nappy off and letting him try its a big step him telling you he needs to go he obviously knows what he needs to do he will eventually take the next step, have you tried sitting him on the toilet yet my dd wouldnt go on the potty she went straight on the toilet it felt more comfortable for her.x

to go for a poo or for a poo on potty so i take off his nappy but he dusnt do anything he usually just wees all over the place insted lol should i just tell him he dusnt need to go as i think its just because of his 3 yr old brother going to loo for 1 or should i keep taking the nappy off when he says he needs a poo and letting him try thanx
