My 21 month dd was totally uninterested though! But the 5 and 7 year olds loved it. Haven't made it in ages. -

I made it yesterday. 1 cup flour, one cup water, 1/2 cup salt, 1 tbsp oil, 2 tsp cream of tartar and some food colouring (you can also add glitter or something like oats to give it texture. Pop in the microwave for 1 1/2 mins, stir then another min in the microwave. Leave to cool. Store in the fridge. lasts longer and comes off the carpet easier than shop bought stuff! -

I work in a nursery and make it regularly! It is: 1 cup of flour 1/2 cup of salt 1 tablespoon of oil 1 teaspoon of cream of Tatar 1 cup of hot water Food colouring It takes quite a bit of mixing but will eventually form a dough, I test it by sticking my finger in it, if it comes out clean it is done, if not add some more flour until its ready. -
