HI ALL WHE WILL THIS RAIN END OMG GET UR BOATS OUT GIRLS LOL ITS CRAZY WEATHER, ABS HAS SELLY OAK TOMORROW TO CHECK HER PROSTHESIS TO MAKE SURE IT STILL FITS. hi all
been making most of the nice weather over the last few days which iam glad cos its raining today
harry had his 2nd injections yesterday and weighed 14lb10.5 oz!!! james has aslo cut 4 teeth in the last 2 days so he hasnt been his normal happy self. harry still sleeping through which is great.
just done james' and harrys foot and hand prints this morning which james loved getting paint all over. the bath water was red after i finished getting it off them both so had to refill it to wash them down again.
james at grandmas later while i take harry to baby group so that will be nice.
then tomorrow harry has his blood test
he screams for ages with his injections so really not looking forward to that.righ off to do my hair and put a happy face on

awww big hugs for pam and abs,i cant imagine what its like for poor abs, it must be difficult every day, we have it pretty easy with isabels arm we only have to go for refits which we are not at the moment as she wont wear one and she is doing perfectly well with out.
got issys feet measured and she has gone up from a 3.5 f to a 4f, not going to get more shoes gonna look for sum boots for the winter, she has sandals and shoes which are a 4, i cant get any trousers to fit her, if i get 12/18 they just fall down and if i get 9/12 they too short, so think its gonna be dresses and thick tights for the winter, her coat stil fits from last year but gotta get mil to take the sleeve up cos its too tight to turn up.
we made cakes yesterday and omg did she make a mess or what i had cake mix in m;y hair she was coverd in it and so was most of the kitchen, but she had fun lol which is the main thing,

not really sure how many ops abs will need yet i suppose they will say as shes growing,but if its easier may be better to take off the knee but we will see oh well more stress for us mummies ,how are you all xxxxx6/9/08 11:13
big huggs for james, im so pleased for you that he is sleeping all night, it makes such a huge difference
took isabel to docs twice this week she has had this nasty sore patch on her chin, first gave us some cream to put on it saying it was excma (cant spell it lol) but in morning it had gone all yellow, so took her back and its an infection the cream had made it worse, so now have antibiotic cream so hopefully it will clear up.
lisa sent you some pictures but mailer deamon sent them back ????? will try again later.
it is soooooo good to hear that teddie is making a good recovery toc have been thinking of you both xxxxx
right im off me and issy are making winnie the pooh cakes should be fun lol

aww thanks everyone,
harry is still sleeping all night woohoo. he was up at 4 thursday morning but that was cos he poo'ed all up his back, but as soon as he was changed and cleaned he went back to sleep. me on the other is still waking up at 3am. lol
pam how many op's did abi need? we still dont know but will hopefully find out in november.
toc iam so pleased teddie is doing really well, have been thinking about you so much. so happy he is on the mend xxxxx hope all your scans go well cant wait to find out what your having
james is saying loads of words now, its like he has eaten a dictionary lol.
harry has his next injections on monday then a blood test on wednesday to see if he has any underlined sysdrome, so not a pleasent week for him next week.

martha sorry to hear your news but im sure it will be for the best for your lil boy xxxxxxx
as for my lil boy he is now PINK wich is amazing he is like a different child he has a echo etc nxt week so fingers crossed all is good on the inside aswell
im having a scan 2moz so going to find out what im having yay
got a cardiac scan on this bubs next week so fingers crossed for that speak to you all soon love to lil ones xxxxx

(((( im not sure what to say really i remember when abs has to have her bone straightened in her knee to make it easier for her to walk in her prosthesis xxxxanh she had to have a hip spica for a while and i was like a mad woman because they didnt explain what was happening properly,but it was better for her in the end lots of love to you all im here for all of u even if im not on here as much as i was xxxxxxxxx4/9/08 17:03
So sorry to hear your news lisa it must be very upsetting for you.How r u hope your doing ok?If you ever need to talk im always here for you .We should find out for definate what to expect with nile in a couple of weeks.Its not very nice knowing our babies have so much to go through at a young age bless them!

awwww lisa sending huge hugs to all of you, i know you were expecting this news all along but its still heartbreaking when its confirmed to you, you seemed very open minded about all right from the start which is good, but i can imagin its still very upsetting and im thinking of you.
woohoo to harry sleeping all nigh hope it continues for you, we just need to talk little nile into sleeping all night for his mum to now then we will have very happy mummies all round, i think Isabel has given up on having a nap now she hasent had one for days now and i miss my naps lol but she dose sleep from 7am till 8.30ish pm so i should not complain.
we r off to the doctors with issy in a bit, she has come out in a large rash all on her chin and round her bottom lip, i put some sudacream on it and it got worse

HARRY SLEPT ALL NIGHT LAST NIGHT 10 WHOLE HOURS
on a not so happy note, the surgeon told us harry will have to have his leg amputated at around the age of 2
they told us his condition is called proximal femoral focal deficiency (PFFD) his femur is around 55% shorter and theres no way can legthen the bone tthat much without causing harry years of distress and pain. they said the cut off point is around 40% so we are way over that.we were kinda expecting this news but still so upsetting that little harry will lose his cute little foot
we go back in november to start planning what will happen next and will talk with the consultants for over an hour so every thing is made clear to us. the sergeon was really nice and made us feel at ease so know our little boy is in the best possible hands. he quicly went throught what would likly happen and said that they would fuse his knee togther to make his femur longer and then amputate the leg in line with his longer femur.we are gald about this as was really worried he would lose his whole leg.well its been a long day, hope harry sleeps all night tonight

hi jodie, sorry to hear you are having a bad time of it, i too had trouble with my first dd, i seemed to be bf all day and night it turned out that he was not feeding all the time he was using me for comfort ie a dummy, as soon as i stopped and put him on bottle he settled realy well, but as lisa says its totaly down to you what you decide to do and a happy mum realy makes a happy baby.
isabel has been a little sweetie all day today, apart from not wanting a nap, she has been helping me make cakes, putting washing in the machine, holding the pegs for me, she has just wanted to help me all day bless her, but i am glad she is in bed now lol.
im a bit peed off now cos channel 5 is playing up and im waiting to watch csi miami, fink i might give up and go to be got an early start tomorrow

hi joide you must do what you want to do, its not your hubby feeding him its you.plus you may find that niles is alot more settled on bottles. hes had the best start in life so you have done fantastic. if your hubby really wants you to keep bf why not just do the morning and bed time feed or something like that. just remenber your him mummy you know whats best for both of you. happy mummy equals happy baby xxx

Hi everyone hope you are doing ok?
Im so stressed out breastfeeding just is not out it is so much harder than i remeber with jordan.Nile has problems latching on then my milk comes out too fast & chokes him he then refuses to feed.And when he does feed ok he still seems hungry afterwards no matter how long he has been feeding for.He just never seems settled all i do is feed all day & night.
I really feel like giving up & just putting him on formula but i know my husband will be upset he really likes the idea of breastfeeding but i just dont know what to do i want to breastfeed him but it just doesnt seem to be working out.
sorry to go on just not sure what to do.x

well my two are a sleep after an active time at play group, then once they wake up we must go into town and do a nappy run.
its nice weather here today but a little windy, we took the boys to the beach yesterday and james loved it. it started to scream when it was time to go, which he is starting to do alot now.
had my hair cut on saturday and i love it!!!! so made another appointment for 6 weeks time to keep on top of it or it will be another 6 months before i go again. my email is lisa.c***ers@hotmail.co.uk

hi pam good to hear from you, bet you will be glad when kids back at school, i expect abs will have to have a new leg made freqeuently as she is growing so much, glad to hear her leg has healed, issy seems to be getting a lot of red spots on the end of her arm, thin k its just something to do with the heat, as her arm gets very hot at the end as the blood vessels that should have gone down to her hand are all gathered in one place.
hey Lisa i still cant get holiday pics on here, so you will have to give me your email and i will send some, hope you and the boys are well, im off round my friends to give him some computer lessons, he is not good with technology lol so i will catch you all later

hi toc, hows teddie doing, hope all is well with your pregnancy too.
they are right little chatter boxes now lisa, love listning to their babbles when playing, tried to have a nap this afternoon but issy was having none of it, she kept saying up mum up mum then all of a sudden i felt somthing hit me when i looked she had taken her nappy off and thrown it at me lmao. she hasnt had a nap all week hope she dont keep that up as i need one at times lol
issy is feeding herself all the time now, i manage to get the odd spoonfull in now and then and she is getting less down herself and on the floor.
well think im gonna get off to me ickle bed as its almost midnight and ive been up since 4 am, hopefully get a layin tomorrow.

hi toc all really good here thanks how are you and hows teddy getting on? was it you or leanne thats pg or is it both i cant remember. if its you when are you due? and hows it all going?
iam just colouring my hair as going to get it cut tomorrow. not had it done since feb so badly needs doing.harry went from 4:30 yesterday afternoon till 1:30 this morning with out a feed, now if i can get him to go 9 hours again that would be great as long as its through the night lol. james is really chatting a way to himself now and like to shout at you lol. and when harry cries he goes and put his dummy in, it sosweet.
right off to wash this colour off before it burns my hair off lol.

MARTHA maybe you could ask the doc for some emla cream on perscription if your lil one has to have lots of blood tests then you could put it on b4 you go to save lil one the pain?
big hug to you its horrid what they have to have done but they are so brave i think we come off worse then them emotionaly lol bless them
