had lovely time in devon didnt want to come back, issy won a prize for her dancing lol she looked so cute, she loved it she is very sociable anyway so didnt mind all the people, she got a little fed up with children keep touching her arm she learnt to say clock not sure why the only thing is to the untrained ear it sounds like summit else lol
so how is every one well i hope xxx
will post sum hol pics as soon as i know how to get them off me new camera but none of me in me cossie cos i looked like a giant olive lol

toc - how teddy doing? is he home yet? hope so and really hope he is recovering well.
pam- poor abi, did you managed to find a pushchair/wheelchair for when she is unable to walk?
we are at sheffield childrens hospital on the 3rd for an x-ray and to see the surgean, really not looking forward to having to make a choice of which route to go down with harry. hopefully we will get some news that may make our choice a little easier. just hope we make the right one for harry.
well the sun is finally out here so catching up on all my washing as really running out of things to wear. lol

HI ALL YES POOR ABS HAD AN NEW INNER ON HER LEG SO HAS CAUSED A WATER BLISTER AND BURST OUCHHHH SO SHE IS BANDAGED UP AND DOSENT LIKE NOT HAVING HER LEG ON MUCH,POOR SOUL,SHE LIKES TO BE FREE OHHH DEAR HAS TAKEN A WEEK TO REPAIR ITSELF SO BEEN A PAIN,IM NOT SURE IF ANY OF YOU HAVE HEARD OF IT BUT I APPLIED TO THE FAMILY FUND ITS ALL ON THE NET TO EXPLAIN ABOUT IT BUT ITS WORTH LOOKIN U GET A THOUSAND POUND FOR THE FIRST YEAR THEN 500 EVERY YEAR TILL YOUR CHILD IS SIXTEEN TO HELP WITH WHITE GOODS CLOTHING BEDDING HAVEN HOLIDAYS PETROL,DRIVING LESSONS WORTH A LOOK TO SEE IF YOU QUALIFY PAMXXXXXXX LOVE TO YOU ALLXXXX14/8/08 20:55

harry cried loads it was so upsetting, he cried more then james ever did.
alos had him weighed and he is now a massive 12lb6oz, hes been fast asleep for last 3 hours after having some calpol. poor baby, hate injection time and have it all to do again in 4 weeks time.

hi all hope everyone is ok, joise i miss you
harry has his first injection in an hours time, i hate taking them but what has to be done, has to be done.
just ordered the books some storysack books, have any of you seen them before?
its where you get the story book but also the soft toys to go with the story so the children can interact and makes reading time fun. they have them at story time at play group so just ordered two for the boys christmas presents, cant wait for them to arrive!!!!

hope vevryone is ok, harry slept for 7.5 hours last night betwwen feeds which is a world record in harrys world, hopfully sleepness nights will be a thing of the past soon

awww ((((james)))) hope he all better soon, issy is tall 6/9 too short and too big round the middle she has no belly unlike her jelly belly mum lol dad is 6ft and im 5ft 8 so she gonna be tall.
if i dont catch up tomorrow i will wen i get back of me hols, cant wait, dont care if it rains but would prefer if it didnt, but at least we are away and can go different places.
keep the therad updated dont wanna miss anything lol

its just a viral infection and will go when its ready, daddy has taken him out to jump in puddles to cheer him up xx
james is still in 9-12month bottoms and still have to roll them up, he is going to be short just like me, iam only 5ft

ill take u up on that van lisa if its a transit lol, its all the just in case stuff thats taking up the room , there is a lot of pavo virus going around at the moment also called slap cheek, the get a red rash with it, chicken pox are red spots, hope james gets well soon.
got issy a swimming costume 6/9 months lol and she now fits into the skirt and top my sis got her when she was born 6/9 as well her dresses are 9/12 so she getting there.
doing housey stuff today stevs bro and new gf are comming up here for a few days whilst we are away then she back off to belgium.

hi all sorry ive not been on for a few days, james is unwell and as now come out in a rash all over him from head to toe, think its chicken pox. hes at the doctors later so will soon find out.
are you still packing joise??? lol we have a van you can use to carry all your stuff in lol.
its nice to hear from you pam, poor abi, cant be nice for her when her legs sore. xx

hey pam lovely to hear from you ((((((pam)))) i dont know anyone with school aged children that like the summer holidays, we have given up on the prosthectics for issy she wont wear them, but in her case its not as important as abs. are you in contact with occupational therapy, they should be able to help you out with a wheelchair for abs, i got one off ebay for hubby when he is realy bad only cost me 20.00.
well i dyed my hair again, decided to go a darker shade of red as my ususal one turns a bit ginger in the sun, and omg it is very dark, so have to sit in the sun to lighten it a bit lol.
so far for just a week away in devon i have managed to fill 3 suitcases
and ther is more to pack yet.Jodie how is nile is he starting to settle dow yet.

omg im soooo tired after reading Lisa post lol only kidding, we did the same with issy regarding sleeping, she had her naps down stairs in her basket and up stairs ment bed time, we ignored the crying which only ever lasted 5 10 mins and she has always slept all night, i also made a point of not rocking her in my arms to get her to sleep as my i had terrible trouble with second ds not sleeping unless he was being held nightmare.
i hope both harry and nile get on well with their upcomming tests, like you lisa was told that the hypoplastic could be a symptom of other conditions but thank fully this is not the case, it was just genetics, not heredatry..
im starting to get stuff sorted out for holiday, so its grotty old clothes for a week lol as nice stuff is getting packed
steve bough me a lovely new digital camera so be prepared for the holiday slide show when we get back lmao.
jodie hope nile settles for you soon, he is such a little cutie, makes me want another one just like harry dose

aww joide sorry niles still isnt sleeping, we put harry onto comfort milk as was so unsettled all the time. we think harry might of had his days/nights mixed up too so on a night we dont talk to him, not one word and try to only change his nappy if it really needs it. i think as little disruption as possible is what helps them to settle we also put him in his crib on a night and basket in day so he knows that crib means bedtime. its working and is only up once now for anout 30mins tops.
Harry has had a scan on his hip to check that thats all ok and the ball has formed, everything was ok so he wont need any corrective surgary on his hip which is fantastic. we have an appointment on the 3rd september at sheffield childrens hospital which was made when i was about 25weeks pg for and x-ray and then to see the surgaon after, hopefully he will tell us the overall % of diffrence as we arnt sure, we know its over 50%. plus he should start telling us our options and whats best to do i hope. i know he did say when we saw him before that they do about 2 years of planning before they start treatment and sometimes dont even start till the child is 5 years old.
harry had his injectons on the 11th august and ive asked them to not inject into his short leg as we dont know what muscle is there and what condition its in, they are fine with that so will have 2 in one leg instead of 1 in each, when it comes to his 3rd lot of injections they said he can come back to have the 3rd one a week later as will onlt do 2 in 1 leg at a time. i would talk to your HV about his injectons and see if they will do that for you aswell. i just didnt like the idea of them injecting his short leg when we dont know what going on inside.
hope you get and appointment soon, we also have an appointment at our local hosptial on the 11th september which i think is for a blood test to see if the hypoplastic femur was caused by him having an underlined syndrome such as Downs, which we know he hasnt got, but a short femur can indicate a number of syndromes which the dodctors have told us. in my option he looks a normal happy baby just like james did so dont think there is anythink to worry about but its better the check just incase. i just think harrys leg is just 'one of them things' .
god i have babbled on abit havent i LOL.

Hi everyone how are you all?
Think i spoke too soon about nile being more settled at nights he has spent the last couple of nights awake most of the night!Everytime i put him in his moses basket he screams he just wants us to sit and hold him all night while he stares at us.Think he may have his night & day mixed up he sleeps most of the day but is awake all night.
Poor chris only got about a hours sleep last night so he is having a lay in.Nile has been alssep for the last 2 hours must be tired after being up all night.
Lisa have you seen anyone about harrys leg yet im waiting for appointment with specialist to come!

we are all well james has hit the terrible two's and harry is really trying to laugh, he now makes really cute noises.
