thanks for the replies, he has been saying it alot this weekend with family been down he tends to do it when he is over excited.
the thing is he is not diagnosed yet and people tend to just think he is a naughty boy, and think we are imagening it all.
it drives ne insane the naughty boy comments, i stick up for him though i often sound like a b*** but i know better afterall he is my son not theres.

il join this club. my ds is 3 and been diagnosed with autism and copys everything he hears in the wrong context. this includes the bsd words so if he hears a bad word hel say it for ages, but its only if hes heard it recently, then tends to forget it. last week he told his teacher she was a w***er. she laughs but i got upset, but im just trying to get on with it realy, kids will repeat things, so unless you give them ear plugs theywill just repeat things. try not to worry

this is a tough one, id tend to ignore the bad words dont give litle one ay reaction but make a fuss over good words, this did work with my ds2, he has adhd and some speech problems, he came home from his first day of nursery and told me he had a new word and that he could say it properly, he actually made me sit down and said are you ready, and promtly came out with mother f*****, well i wasnt sure if i should have told him off or praise him for saying it right, the thing is to be consistent ask friends and family to do the same as you if you chose to ignore them, thats all i can suggest best of luck tc xx

dylan has picked up some words from nurserry that are not nice at all, the 'F' word 'P*OFF' ect ect.
the thing is the other children know is is naughty and dont say it infront of the teachers, but they know if they say it to dylan he will run around and repest it.
well its driving me mad, he constantly swears when he is very happy and over excited. and its always infront of family, i have tried telling family the situation and they say he is just naughty and there is nothing wrong with him, blaming us and the nursery.
but if there was nothing wrong then why would he be under a peaditrition and not able to go to school in sept, why is he been tested for ocd/autism ect and have development delay.speach therapist, ecte et.
we have been ignoring the language and he has stopped a bit but yet he is still punished for this by others,
i have spoke out to family, told them to cut him a little slack, but i dont know what to do, do i tell him off ar leave it knowing he doesnt know he is doing wrong.
its really beginning to get me down, the whole thing, i just want my son to be happy and ok and less confused about life.

ds has picked up some lovely words forrm other ppl. called me c*** before, which is something noone i know i would ever say, and my sister a b***. we just ingore it and hope he soon forgets the naughty words as they arent ones he hears at home.
