A little while ago I took my friends two youngest (both of whom have Aspergers) to the cinema with my ten year old daughter. While we were waiting to buy our tickets a very large lady was stood in front of us and my friend's son turned round and said in a very loud voice 'why is that woman so fat-what if she sits down and breaks the seat?' Needless to say I wanted the ground to swallow me up there and then!!!!!

My 15yr old ADHD/asd was out with us for the day, we all saw the ’lady’ who was wearing entirely too little for such a chilly day. very short frilly skirt, tiny crop top and waaaaay toooo much pink, a very girly girl!

DS looked her up and down and said with a scornful tone:

"If she doesnt put more clothes on, she’ll get a cold"

Ahhhh bless, there are decent young men out there  but I rather doubt that your average 15y/o would not have felt the same way...

Ds kepts saying to me "I want to tell HIM something" lol Jeez, I could have died but we weren't there for too long thank goodness.

Ds1 has AS so doesn't really understand the unwritten rules of things you should and shouldn't say. Sometimes his comments make me lol.

The other day, dh went to collect him from nursery and they cut through the park afterwards. There was a schoolgirl of about 15 walking past with a very short skirt on. Ds1 planted his feet, pointed his finger, and shouted "You! Girl! Get some trousers on, I can see right up your bum!" I was pmsl when dh told me. He brings me so much joy, it's little things like this that really brighten my day and make it easier to cope. Of course we told him he shouldn't really have said that, we have to teach him the rules but damn did we laugh!!!!
