Hi I brought a RADAR key off another internet site (have 2 special needs children) and was expecting to be asked about their disabilities and diagnosis, but no nothing! So I could of been anyone buying them and I was quite surprised, especially as you have to fight so hard for everything else like blue badges and DLA. Good luck with your campaign.

Thanks for that. Unfortunately I don't think eBay are really bothered-especially as it seems at the moment that it isn't actually illegal. In my opinion it IS imoral, though. Able bodied people have a choice about which toilet to use-disabled people don't!!

me and my husband signed i totally understand what your saying and agree totally with you as i said earlier i had to apply for my key and evryone should be made to do so in order for thoes that need the toilette through no choice of their own can do so its had enough finding public disabled toilets as its with out having to que because of  able bodied people i also emailed ebay wich i get the impression they do not care

Hey please sign the petition as there are still keys being sold on eBay-apparently it's not illegal to sell RADAR keys to able bodied people!!! We are also going to send the petition to RADAR themselves and all the councils in England to try and get the rules tightened up as we feel allowing able bodied poeple to have RADAR keys is a breach of disabled people's rights. I am able bodied myself but am in the process of getting a key as my youngest has cerebal palsy and using ordinary toilets are rather a nightmare!!

this is a discrace we have a key for my 2 special needs children and where i live its hard enough to get to a disabled toilette but when any joe blogs can get access when not nessary is a joke i paid £10 for my key and filled in a application for it too wich is unfair if ebay are allowing this to continue ill sighn you petition

Hi everyone. For all you MUms who don't have facebook and aren't members of ffsk  it has come to our attention (thanks Elaine!) that Ebay are allowing people to sell RADAR keys on their site. For anyone who doesn't know what a RADAR key is they are the ones that give the owner access to disabled toilets so should only be used by disabled people and parents of disabled children. To make matters worse ( if that's possible) the sellers in their bumf SAY that the keys are for accessing disabled toilets and they aren't bothering to check whether the people they sell them to are genuinely entitled to one or not. We have reported each seller we have come across but don't feel that Ebay are really listening so we want to take it one step further.

If any of you have an ebay account could you email them at ukrswebhelp@ebay.com to let them know what you think of their disgraceful behaviour. I have also come into possession of the address and contact details of the main company who supply the blanks to key cutting shops etc so if anyone wants to contact them as well pm me and I'll let you have their details!

What Ebay and these people are doing is wrong and taking advantage of something our kids are entitled to and need. They aren't able to fight for themselves so it's up to us to do it for them!
