hi ya, yeah he is on ritalin. We swore blind we wouldnt put him on medication but its helped him loads, he is doing much better at school and is easier at home - it got to the point where we couldnt see any other way and it is helping him. He is not suffering with sleep or appetite which is great but he is only on a small dose as he is quite small still. Im worried about the fact that when he gets bigger we will probably have to give him more - that makes me feel really uneasy but im trying not to think about that yet - its a really tough decision to make.
Hope the school fair was fun.

oh and the only uni that does midwifery around here is bout 30miles away but if I get in my dp's going to get me driving lessons and a car, Ill hav til sept to learn to drive! lol

hey hows every1 today? Ive got my kids dressed for nursery and school, my friends taking them today so Im sitting in my pj's lol got xmas fair at 11 though so Ill have to move soon, takes me hours to get ready.my son first saw someone a year ago and hes due another appointment with a programme called changing lanes, this diagnoses adhd then they willl go from there. does your son get medication for adhd? Im unsure about it as you hear so much bad things. I have faceboook but haven't been on it for ages! my computer wasnt working I had to get a new name on here too xxx

hi theresa il add you later, another friend, i dont have many on there lol. Yeah Carla, it takes ages, my son was 4 when he saw pediatrician and 6 when he got diagnosed with adhd and over 6 with autism, its so frustrating x

my names cara lol I never buy anythin off ebay I should though coz josh loves dvds and I always buy them! same with computer games. Im not holding my breath on a diagnosis 4 josh lol takin them months and months! we last saw someone in april, his psychologist was off fot 4 months! x

hi ya, once your son is diagnosed you should be entitled to dla, then you can claim carers allowance.

oh and hi curly wurly (lol I dont know your name!) I was annoying my dp last nigh by singin xmas songs when he was trying to sleep so Im getting in the spirit too! no tree up yet though, just gets the kids WAY too hypo x

Im going to uni to do either midwifery or social work, depends if I get into midwifery or not as its really competative! Its good you want to work with kids with special needs if you have alot of experience.my dp works as a truck mechanic and a football coach for kids with behaviour problems, teenagers mainly so Im in on my own alot. Im not classed as a carer as josh doesnt get dla. I need to learn to drive though and I get nervous when things come towards me fast so think it might take a while! do any of you have bebo? I need more friends lol I just joined xxx

We put our tree up sunday, they got a bit excited to say the least lol.

im 30 and dh is 40 you have nothing to be sorry about and no you never upset me and no the doc never got sacked but we never pesued it i now have 6 kids jessica 14, natasha will be 13 in jan, masons 10, melissa is 9 on 10th december, then we had belle and jasmyne is 4.5 and finally niall is 2 dh held 3 jobs and now we both classed as carers for our 10 yr old son and our 14 yr dd cause they have lots of appointments between them but i am redoing my maths and english and hope to be a special needs teachers assistant

aw, Im really sorry thats horrible, did the doctor who prescribed them get sacked? Thats really bad, would she have survived if that mistake hadnt been made? sorry I didn't mean to upset you I was just curious when I saw what you had written. WEhat age are you if you dont mind me asking? you have alot of kids lol Id like more but dont know if I could cope! Im going to uni next year too, so maybe when I have a decent job, my dp would like a football team an already has names picked lol (riley is named after a footballer!) xz

hiya are you on about my angel my angel is not the little girl pictured she was my profile pic but i changed it the little girl as my profile pic is 4.5 yr old jasmyne my angel was called isabelle she was born in sept 01 and died in june 03 (21 mths) she was verry porley had server learning difficulties and a rare condition called myhsenia gravis wich meant she got lots of chest infections one time she got a infection and was given eurethamicin a common anti biotic howether its not to be given to kids with mysenia as it causes the wind pipes to swell and thats what happend but we didnt know about these side effects so her death could of been prevented i hope thats what you meant!

my dp says Im a hypocrite for wanting to go to church as I dont go any other year lol are they ok with kids? as josh can be a bit loud and excitable! needless to say I didnt go on the skateboard! lol think Id break something. Im going to an xmas fair tomorrow so Im guessing the kids will want to put the tree up! Im freezing my cats keep opening the front door , need to teach them to close it again after them I think xxx
I ended up spending a fortune on crap lol Im trying to get my nintendo wii sold, its almost brand new with 7 games and we never use it, so Im doing that tonight on the net. Josh decided to go out on his new skateboard today, snowing and icey but he wouldnt take no for an answer, he fell like 20times, I was watching him from the window soooo funny!Im gna read the kids a story then to bed, they are in bath atm! I got reindeer dust at the xmas fair 2day and bought a magic santa key lol wat age did ur lo's stop believing in santa?
