Hi i have a daughter who sounds just like your son but she is 6 next week, she pushes shoves, always on the go, i made  a real effort to praise her the other day as she listened to me when crossing the roads and also she picked up a £20 note and handed it back to a lady in the supermarket what she had dropped so i went overboard as she is always being told off as she is very hard work. She is also fidgety at school when she is supposed to be listening to the teachers she plays with childrens hair. The teachers say she is going to be a hairdresser when she grows up. She is very behind in her school work i am waiting to see what they say in year 2 in Sept. I will wait until December and see the teacher she will know her by then. There may be a problem but it could be terrible twos my son wasn't like this but so far out of 3 of my daughters 2 have been like what you mentioned eldest one had to see school psychologist she was that bad. Now Melissa she is a leader she wants people to do what she wants and if they don't god help them. Don't know about my other yet as she is 16mths old but she is a big girl and she is also very sociable just like her sisters and i think she may also be like this. Mind you it could be girls that are harder work. Lol. Sharon x

Hi my son is 2 and a half next month. The health visitor told me today that she is referring him to see a behavourist to see if he has adhd. It could be a case of terrible twos but my two bros have it and the health visitor would like it checked out before he starts pre school next year. One minute he is an angel and the next he is the demon chid. No matter how i punish him it doesnt work, he always seems to be on the go and can be very agressive with other children, he isnt to bad if there is one or two kids but if i bring him somewhere there is loads of children all he seems to do is scream and shout and kick and shove the other children. I have a 13 wk old son and my two year old has never been agressive towards him but is very protective over him. He is also very smart and his speech is well above the average for his age. Sometimes his behaviour is so bad i want to have a good cry. Just wondering if anybody else child is like this and what age they where diagnosed at?  Thanks for listening xxx kim
