    hiya adders.org definatly has a adult thread also ones for pateners as well . i am member was one there last night happend to notice ,

    hope you find more info for your dh xxx

    Hi there. I think there is a group called Adders.org or something like that and within the forum there is an adult section for adult people who have ADHD. It is quite a large forum which has lots of members although I am not a member myself. Thought you might want to have a look at it though.

    My husband has just been diagnosed with ADHD at the ripe old age of 30!! Thing is, there doesn't seem to be any support groups for newly diagnosed ADULTS, they only really cater for children. Does anyone know of any organisations or support groups we could get in touch with? We are in Glasgow but even a mailing list or SOMETHING would be better than the Dr's "here's your pills, get on with it" approach, not very helpful really. Dh has spent his whole life thinking he's a failure, that he's stupid etc. I think he'd benefit from speaking to others who are on his wavelength and can relate to him.
