Don't know if this will help or not!! I use washable nappies with my ds and as they are bigger than normal disposables we had to buy body suit extenders so that they fitted. They are about 4 inches long so will make a vest last a good while longer - Once someone has seen one they will easily be able to make some. This link is not the website I got mine from but will explain better than me what I'm talking about!!!

Look at cloth nappy websites or google something like bodysuit extenders. Hope this has been of some help.

Aw sorry hun, I wondered if it were for the lo in your pic! Yes they are really handy, but so expensive. What probs did you have with Racketys then? I guess fabric would be expensive, but if you can find a fabric warehouse type place locally you should be able to get enough to make a good few body suits for about a fiver. They wll probably sell the popper studs too. When Racketys charges £12 each it will definitely work out way cheaper, and you could even have velcro opening or something put into them for his tubs. xxxx

He is coming up to 10! We use them as it stops his gastro tube from dangling, we tried pants and a vest but it made nappy changing incredibly hard. My mum is thinking of trying to do some, but even then the fabric is expensive now.

Tried googling, shall have to go with the making idea methinks

Oh and depending on your child's age, some shops now sell the normal packets of baby vests for age 3-4 years. I know Tesco do, but obv if your child is old this is irrelevant. xxx

I would have suggested Racketys if you hadn't mentioned them as I got my ds 4 from there last year and I had no problems with them. Thankfully they still fit him this year so will do for now. Maybe do a Google search for Special Needs clothing and see what it comes up with, if you haven't done this already. I have found our bodysuits a Godsend as ds tends to undo his nappies if he doesn't wear one. Hope you find something suitable. It's a shame these products are so bloody expensive simply as they are for SN children. Do you know anyone who's handy with a sweing maching as maybe they could run you something up? xxx

I am looking for the popper vests/bodysuits (like the ones babies wear) for an older child. We got our last lot from Racketys but tbh their customer service was awful and we would like to find other places to buy. Google came up with nothing, so just wondering if others have anywhere they buy them.

    Thanks
