    I have a questionnuttybabe7677

My son who is 9 was diagnosed about a year ago and I was wondering if any of your children have it and how you cope.  I was coping ok until he had his annual check up with the paed earlier and she said I need to get as much support as possible before he goes to senior school as he might get bullied (he has a statement for speech aswell)and that I need to start looking for suitable now not when he goes into year 5.  I also need to make my son aware of his condition and that he is "different" to other children.  He has to write a letter to the paed before end of October about what he has found out.  I found this all very strange but I guess she knows what shes on about??
