hi Karen!
At least if she is given something to help her sleep, it means you sleep, which means things are easier to handle.
Jack gets obesessed about things like germs, antibodies and illness at the moment, I just dont have the mental capacity to answer his very in depth questions lol.
We had peds today as he also has adhd and they have given him ritalin, have been dreading the day we had to resort to medication but it was the last resort. We gave him one today and I have to say, the change was immediate and amazing, so im just hoping it lasts as he deserves to feel as normal as possible.
Anywayz, sorry for rambling. ASD kids can be exhausting but they are also very interesting arent they, and we woudnt be without them and they teach us so much.
Speak tomorrow and have a great night, hope charlotte sleeps well for you hunni xx

Hi ya, well Charlottes sleeps not brillaint, shes been on Vallergan Forte to help her sleep, but the doctors have now decided to stop it, and we're relying on a strict sleep routine now, gues stime can only tell.
Her latest phase of habits, are pressing an imaginary button to the side of every door, gate, in every house, room, street path etc etc, means our walks certainly take alot longer oh and shes back to stopping every time we come up to those bobbly yellow sections in paths, you know that are whe the path slopes down or something. She stops everytime and doesnt seem to want to move , we hgave to really encourage her with a nudge to get her to move on.
Shes also developed the Joys of SENSES !!! yes she seems to sniff and lick anything new , mainly food or a new toy perhaps ???
We've just started the PECS system, still no speech whatsoever and shes now 2.7 months.
The funniest and most adorably sweet thing she does though is this,
Chantelle her little sister has just turned one and she see's how when we're tickling her we grab a leg and go " Tickle ickle ickle "
so now when we go out and about, Charlotte will randomly run up to a child grab there leg or arm whatever and go " ickle ickle ickle !!! "
poor child looks completely gobsmakced, sometimes parents are fien other times they give a funny look, but its not like i can tell her off as she doesnt seem to understand that its inapropiate to just go up to any young child and do that, she gets\really distressed if we stop her ?? gues spart of thinks " well im just being nice and doing what mummy and daddy do "
but it really is adorable !!!
How about the rest of you and your children and families ??
