My son sweats alot at night.

Some one asked me if he slept on a waterproof matteress (which he does) and they said to swap it for just a normal one, as sleeping on the plastic material is what makes them sweat alot.

So i turned his matress over as its waterproof one side and  not the other, and it has made a difference. He is still a little hot and sweaty but no were near as much.

    Hi hun.

My 2 1/2 year old dd sweats quite a lot at night. She has just started saying that she doesn't want to wear her PJ's. So for the last couple of weeks I have just let her sleep naked. At first I thought she might get cold, but she hasn't. When it gets a bit cooler in the night she just pulls her duvet over her (most of the time she sleeps without that too).

She seems to have been sleeping better since doing this.

Come to think of it, my 4 month old DD sweats a bit, not to the extent of my 2 yr old DD.

my ds is nearly 4 and sweats buckets when you go in during the night his pillow is soaked and his hair is all wet. He has always been the same when you put him to bed and reading a story you can feel him starting to heat up. Think it's just his way of winding down and relaxing.

dd is 18 months and is the same she sweats at night as well

Hi, my little girl (now 3 1/2) has always sweated loads.  I often pop in to check on her and her hair is plastered to her head and her clothes are soaked.

She is just a very hot girl and as a result drinks lots during the day.  I think if it started happening suddenly I'd ask your health visitor about it but I do think some kids are just sweaty.

She has the thinest duvet I could find, often sleeps naked on a warm night and I do leave her little window and the bathroom window open to get a bit of air flow going and keep her room cool.  We even had a fan in her room when it was really hot and sometimes just gave her a wipe over with a damp flannel.

I have a little boy to (nearly a year) and he seems just as sweaty

I have just noticed the last couple of nights my 2 year old son has been sweating as well.  I took his pj bottoms off as the were wet and the pillow was soaking were his head was laying.  I also has a summer quilt on and cotton sheets. dont know the reason for this.

Hello, Does anyone else have a tot who sweats quite badly at night. My DD sweats to the point that she is completely soaked, i have had to change her a few times because of how wet she is. All her night clothes are cotton and i have a summer quilt on her bed. Any advise for me to try and help her would be gratefully recieved. Thankyou xx
