    You could hide chocolate coins round the living room and ask the children to find them but make sure you slip a couple to the one's who don't find too many.

    If you wanted a variation on musical chairs then why not create some mats out of paper (you could makee them match any theme you wanted.... pirate party = islands or treasure maps, princess party = crowns, jungle party = jungle leaves etc etc) You could get LO onvolved helping you make them and you can obviously make as many as you need.

    thanx sazzie thats sites got a few ideas. i was gonna do musical chairs but not enough room or chairs. my mum used to do it with cushions when we were kids but i havnt got enought cushions either.

    any ideas on music.was gonna download a few songs rather than buy a cd. what would 4 yr old boys like to listen too. ds doesnt really listen to music himself.

    will be ds 4th birthday party. can you recommend music and some party games. i have a pass the parcel and pin the tail on donkey, and then thinking musical statues or bumps or both. can u think of any others.
