My chocolate crispies rock

Melt 2oz butter, add 2oz sugar, stir until sugar is dissolved, don't let it boil.
Add 2oz cocoa, add 2oz golden syrup.Add cornflakes.
Or make them all 4oz and make even more.........
I actually just throw a lump of butter in the pan, then keep adding spponfuls of the other ingredients and tasting as I go!

I make these every week!
I buy Tescos/Asdas own cooking choc its 54p for a huge bar. I use half at a time (unless Im feeling hungry!), melt, pour in cornflakes/rice crispies or shredded wheat and just keep mixing till theyre all covered. Make them as lightly or heavily coated as u want. Half the bar usually makes about 12 cakes though.
We made some yesterday and also added hundreds and thousands and chocolate sprinkles!

i never measure it. i used to do a mix of syrup, chocolate powder, butter and rice crispies but not made it in ages so forgot the kind of amounts i used to use.so now if i make them i just get a bar or melting chocolate and just keep pooring rice crispies into melted chocolate until most of the chocolate is coating the rice crispies.

now i thought these were simply choc and krispies...but searched on net and there are tonnes of variations!? does anyone have a nice simple recipe? i just wasnt sure about how much of choc/krispies to use. sorry if this sounds dull

i never measure it, i use melted mars bars instead of normal chocolate, you have to [pour some cream in as melting because the dont melt well on there own very smoothly
