try mixing it in a small fromage frais yoghurt , always works for us as is sweet enough to disguise medicine x
my dd has impetigo too at mo but has the cream

Could you mix it with sugar or bribe her to take it with chocloate afterwards? I know that doesn't sound good but it's only for a short time and she does need it as impertogo is very contagaious until treated.

hi -we had similar problem when my DS had his chest infections. The hospital gave us a little shringe to give him the antibiotics but he used to get so upset and clamp his mouth, it would go everywhere and then he'd just sick it up. My mum finally managed to get him to have some off a spoon - but only by being really calm and firm with him - he had wouldn't take it from me or my OH - we had obviously scared him!!! Bribery might help if you say take it and you can have a sweet??? (I might get some flak for saying that!!). xx

my lo had impetigo and had the medicine (which smelt disgusting!), but we gave it to her with a syringe and then straight afterwards gave her a chocolate button - eventually she wanted more medicine for more buttons!
Good luck x
