its this one, b&m isnt the same as home bargains but if you google it you can get their website and check for one near you. Also alot of Au Natural stores have just been taken over by b&m. they're really good for dora stuff xx

Dd had a proper bike with stabilisers when she was 2 1/2. Took her a while to get there but now a year later shes riding it with the stabilisers off the floor!! So proud lol. (The stabilisers went proper skewy lol as they do and i wanted to fix them so they went flat again but glad i didnt now as it helped her to ride independently Sorry rambling!xx

My dd has a balnce bike and she can ride it so well - she's 2 yeasr 9 months old and she runs so fast on it then lift her legs of the ground and rides along with perfect balance.  She finds hills and rides down them and on forest tracks and down teh castle hill and on loads of bridal ways too.  The balance bike has been great and I feel she really will be ready for no stabiliers soon as she is so confident and has great balance it.  My DH is very scpetical of these sorts of things but even he admits the balance bike it great.

I think a balance bike for Christmas is a bit boring tbh! Argos do a lovely Thomas The Tank one which is kind of inbetween a trike and a bike - for a bout £50 HTH xx

ds1 got a bike bike for christmas when he was 2 and a half. we got a 12'' wheel bike with stabilisers from argos for £40 with helmet and knee and elbow pads. took him a wee while but he got there in the end and loves it.

feedback i have got from people who bought their kids balance bikes was they went through shoes really quickly cos they used their feet to stop bike.

    HTH xxx

We want to buy our son a bike for Christmas - he'll be just over 2 and a half. We've looked at ones with pedals and the balance bikes, without, and was wondering what other people have bought and would recommend. Thanks in advance x
